The Alberta Sporting Clays Association first published the “Shoot Book” in 2000. It was published annually from 2000 until 2010.

The Alberta Sporting Clays Association created the CNSCA in 2010. In 2011, the annual Shoot Book became the CNSCA Shoot Book.

The 2012 Shoot Book was created and distributed in digital format only and never sent to print. The annual printed edition ran from 2013-2019 and again in 2024.
